With UX you make your store intuitive and easy to use. With UI you make it trust-building, synonymous with your brand and just plain pretty :)
User experience - the full user experience when using a product / site / store. Most commonly used with digital products. Responsible for how the user experiences the site and how quickly the user completes the path to purchase. How intuitive it is and whether it is easy to use.
User interface - from English user interface. Everything that your customer sees when entering an online store or website. Graphic design, content layout, arrangement of buttons, shopping cart, CTAs and the like.
In the era of ready-made templates, a million "one-copy" stores and the ever-popular shopping carts in even 5 steps, further both concepts are foreign to most of our customers and considered irrelevant. Wrong...It is by combining the two (UI and UX) that you are able to realistically influence customers' buying decisions and convince them of your store or product.
The answer is simple. Both - they complement and interact inseparably. With UX you make your store intuitive and easy to use. With UI you make it trust-building, synonymous with your brand and just plain pretty :) . There are products presented nicely and interesting, but in use they are tragic and vice versa. Very easy to use, but visually they "trump the mouse".
