What did we achieve and how did we do it?

  1. we launched differential orders in Subiekt GT (there was no need to create an additional individual mechanism)
  2. We used the Baselinker API to update the order for which an invoice was created in Subiekt GT
  3. We used the Baselinker API to add a new order in Baselinker, which was created in Subiekt GT

Assumptions

The products the customer offers are produced in different production cycles. On the other hand, XYZ wanted to streamline the rotation of finished products in order to fulfill orders to customers regularly after meeting the minimum margin condition, which on the other hand distributed the work for the warehouse service fairly evenly.

Starting point

We performed an analysis of the process and proposed the use of a native mechanism in Subiekt GT and on our side there was programming work to be done in which, using the Baselinker API, we were able to update the data in the order (products) to which the invoice was created and the warehouse knew what products to ship. The products that were removed from the order had to be placed in Baselinker as a new order with a reference to the order in Subiekt GT.

Effects of implemented measures

<frame>Zespół klienta otrzymywał mniej pytań o przesyłkę a klient podniósł efektywność rotacji produktu.<frame>

In the lighting industry, it sometimes takes several to several days to produce under a customer's order. With a certain scale of sales, products regularly flowing in different order under different orders can block space in the warehouse:

  1. <highlight>większa regularność<highlight> ilości wysyłanych przesyłek przez magazyn
  2. <highlight>zwiększenie rotacji produktów<highlight>, które nie mogły być wysyłane do klientów (czekanie na pozostałe produkty z zamówienia)
  3. <highlight>lepsze zagospodarowanie<highlight> ograniczonej przestrzeni magazynowej
